Why I'm a Celebrant?
I've spent my entire career telling stories.
For more than 20 years as a Journalist and Presenter for ITV I had the privilege of meeting people from all walks of life and sharing their stories with audiences across the Midlands. Along the way, I discovered something important: every person has a story worth telling, and the moments that matter most deserve to be celebrated.
Becoming a Celebrant felt like a natural next chapter.
It brings together everything I love, connecting with people, listening to their stories, writing meaningful words and creating memorable experiences. Whether I'm helping a couple celebrate their wedding day, welcoming a child through a naming ceremony, or honouring a loved one with a celebration of life, I feel incredibly privileged to play a small part in life's biggest moments.
My approach is warm, personal and relaxed. I take the time to get to know you, understand what matters most, and create a ceremony that feels authentic and true to your story. No generic scripts, no cookie-cutter ceremonies just thoughtful, heartfelt words written especially for you.
